How to reach us

Sappada lies on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the Dolomites. Here's how to reach us by car or public transport.
By car
From Veneto: A27 Mestre–Belluno motorway to Longarone (Pian di Vedoia), then towards Pieve di Cadore and Auronzo di Cadore, turning off for S. Stefano and Sappada.
From Friuli Venezia Giulia: A28 Palmanova–Tarvisio motorway, Carnia/Tolmezzo exit, then the SS52 state road via Ovaro, Rigolato and Forni Avoltri to Sappada.
By train
The nearest railway station is Calalzo di Cadore, from where a bus takes you directly to Sappada in under an hour. Coming from the Friuli side, get off at Carnia station and continue by bus to Sappada.
